Home carers to professionals

As in ordinary day to day life, people living in the same house will often be the first to notice small differences in behaviour of others which may be due to tiredness, extra stress, lack of stress (while on holiday for instance, or change of work personnel, or a new supportive relationship)

The same is true with someone with any long term health condition, whether physical or emotional.

It is important to share changes noticed with treating professionals, especially if emotional instability is part of the picture and noting particular changes may indicate serious consequences which may be life threatening.  Such information may be life saving (for instance, when supporting someone with an eating disorder; severe depression; angina).
